My name is Diana Golubova, authorized court translator for English and Macedonian. My native language is Macedonian, and I live in Skopje, Macedonia. I have university degree in English language and literature; cluster Translation and Teaching, major Translation.

Being a translator for over 15 years with extensive experience behind, I consider myself excellent choice for the position of translator regarding Macedonian. My fields of expertise are localization, education, technical and automotive manuals,  phone menus and medicine. 

 

Presently, I’m engaged in several ongoing translation projects including translation of FORD and CLASS manuals into Macedonian and Croatian, respectively.

Besides this, I work on Microsoft software localization project in Macedonian and Albanian where my role is Language team leader and leading translator as besides translating I have perfect knowledge of Macedonian grammar, and work as a proof reader, too. 

Regularly, I do translations and proof readings on everyday basis for various customers all over the globe regarding manuals for TVs, DVDs, refrigerators, cell phones, etc. So, I’m used to tight schedules and I always meet the deadlines.  I also translate laws and legislative for the needs of EU funded projects here in Macedonia.

 

Being active all the time, I’m willing to participate in a work process out of regular working hours including weekends having in mind the time difference. I usually do 450-500 words per hour, or app. 3500 – 4000 word per day .

 

The CAT tools I work with are TRADOS, TRANSIT, DEJA VU, HELIUM, LOCKSTUDIO, and LOGOPORT.
